Hi Tiger Splash,

We wanted to say a big "Thank You" to all of our families, volunteers and swimmers who attended the Time Trials Meet today. It was a warm day, but we made it. I have to say this was an exciting start to our season with many more meets to come. We always enjoy seeing so many of our (new and old) swimmers have the confidence to hop in the pool and just compete against their teammates and friends, that's what it's all about.

TIME TRIALS MEET RESULTS AND INFORMATION

The meet results are attached to this email and can also be found on the website by looking at the "Results" tab under Schedule.

Any ribbons and/or beads earned at this meet will be included in your swimmer's folders by Thursday of this week.

FAMILY FOLDERS

Each family has a "Family Folder" that we will use to distribute beads, ribbons, DQ slips and any other items we may have for your swimmers. Family folders are usually placed on one of the tables under the pavilion during practice.

Ribbons are awarded for 1st - 6th place, if your swimmer did not place, they will receive 1 participation ribbon.

Swimmers receive beads for each personal best time per event - since this was our first meet of the season, every swimmer gets a bead for each event they competed in. There are also special beads awarded by the coaches and for special weather related events (rain/cold). The bead color chart can be found in the "Parents" tab - "Team Documents". It is also linked here.

The necklaces for the beads will also be distributed in the family folders this week.

UPCOMING SWIM SCHEDULE

There will be no swim practice on Monday, May 26th. We hope you can enjoy the time together with your families. **if you volunteered to help with award distribution - this will be done on Tuesday, May 27th.

NEXT SWIM MEET - MAY 31st

The meet entry is officially open. Please remember to declare "attending" or "not attending" - this really helps us when we start putting the meet together. The meet entry will close on Wednesday, May 28th at 9pm. DQs begin with this swim meet.

Also, remember to indicate relay availability - your choices are:

1. Available for all relays
2. Arriving late, not available for early relays
3. Leaving early, not available for late relays
4. Not available for any relays

**The early relay is the medley relay (4 swimmers on 1 team each swim a different stroke in a specific order) - these are the first events of the meet

**The late relay is the freestyle relay (4 swimmers on 1 team each swim freestyle in sequence) - these are the last events of the meet

***If there is any possibility of your family needing to leave early, please do not sign up for the late (freestyle) relays. The ready bench becomes very complicated with missing swimmers for relays.
